ASIR, 26 March 2004 — Police Corporal Abdullah Al-Muawad has been killed in the line of duty. Asir police had received reports of an accident on the Abha highway, and Al-Muawad went to the scene and began directing traffic while the area was cleared. There a speeding truck plowed into another, which was forced forward killing the officer instantly.
