JEDDAH, 26 March 2004 — One of the well-organized, biggest and Philippine Consulate (PHILCONGEN) recognized martial arts group in Jeddah — the Filipino International Martial Arts Association (FIMAA) in the Western Region — has a new Board of officers for the year 2004. This was stated at WOX Restaurant here recently.
Shihan Roger Paycana was elected president and he affirmed his vision and proposed project that includes the creation of FIMAA member’s development trainings and seminars, held at various locations (or members clubs) throughout the region with the cooperation and support of every willing FIMAA officers or members that can contribute and demonstrate any skills that benefits others.
The preparation and commencement of two FIMAA-sponsored tournament events per year with the overall support of all FIMAA members. Most importantly; the officers hope to move closer to its main objective — unification & camaraderie.
