Guinomla Shines as NCB Emerge Week’s Best Team

JEDDAH, 16 April 2004 — Hashim Guinomla lifted the National Commercial Bank (NCB) bowling team to post 45 points and emerged as the week’s best team in the 4th week of the Monday Night Bowling League 1st Conference at the Jeddah Lanes Bowling Center. Guinomla tallied a three game series scratch of 624 which gave NCB its first accolade since the league started. Bien Hermosura and Leo Laygo added a separate series of 580 and 525 in three games.

Teammates Terry Naorbe and Vic Santos, likewise, chipped-in a separate three game series scratch of 517 and 500. An overall team handicap output of 2,977 was registered by NCB. The current league leaders, Tetra Pak strengthened their grip as the undisputed holder of the numero uno spot.

A total of 43 points was submitted by Tetra Pak through Goying Salazar who carded a three game series scratch of 674. Fellow Rudy Valenzuela came-in with a series scratch of 616. Leo Edejer and Bert Tuvera together with Rodell Ricafort were also responsible for the putting the Tetra Pak on top by adding a separate series of 578, 531 and 467. The Stars of Jeddah Lanes collected 39 points through the heroics of Muhammad Al-Turaifi who toppled a series of 618 in three games.

Ahmad Sindi and Ghassan Al-Masry scored 598 and 527 while Khalid Shabu and Yaser Al-Hokbi had a separate series of 502 and 500.

Faisal Mahmoud sparkled a towering 661 series scratch in three games helped Al-Mutawer team snatched 35 points. Ibrahim and Badr Banjer shared a separate series of 541 and 535. The duo of Ahmed Tringgano and Waheeb Kamfar submitted a series of 499 and 493, respectively.

The Close-Up squad collected 33 points through the courtesy of Nap Patayan who scored a three game series of 606, with a high of 243 in his card. Edwin Ronquillo and Mar Cabrera sealed 563 and 526 series in three matches. Jess Pineda and Randy Mata downed 524 and 517 points.
