RIYADH, 29 April 2004 — The 26th medical symposium of the Pakistan Doctors Group (PDG) will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel here today. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeea, chief executive officer of the National Guard Health Affairs, will be the chief guest. Pakistan’s Ambassador Abdul Aziz Mirza is also expected to speak at the gathering.
The symposium will focus on dermatology and current management of osteoarthritis. Dr. Abdullah Al-Issa will speak on dermatology and consultant orthopedician Dr. Imran Illyas on current management of osteoarthritis.
Novartis, a sponsor of the symposium will make a presentation of its products and services. The opening remarks will be made by the Group’s Academic Secretary Dr. Amir Sheikh and its General Secretary Dr. Riad J Kwawaja will present the annual report of the PDG.
