JEDDAH, 30 April 2004 — Sheikh Zainal Alireza announced that he will revive his old club Yellow Rose to participate with new name, Alireza Cricket Club in Jeddah Cricket League. In late seventies and early eighties, the Alireza Group used to play cricket as “Yellow Rose Club” which was sponsored by Shekiha Salma Reza. She not only used to personally manage the club affairs but also arranged job placements for club players and looked after their welfare.
The new club’s captain will be Asim Mehmood Alireza. He will also be the manager of the club. With the entry of Alireza, the founding house of cricket, Jeddah Cricket League will scale new heights. It shares the passion of Sheikh Zainal Alireza for cricket.
