Kingdom, Australia Sign Agreement

RIYADH, 3 May 2004 — Saudi Arabia and Australia signed a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation here last night with an aim to foster trade in agricultural products and facilitate information exchange especially of new laws governing the imports and exports of the respective countries. Australian Federal Agriculture Minister Warren Truss, who wrapped up his visit to Saudi Arabia yesterday afternoon, signed the document during his meetings with Dr. Hashim Yamani, minister of commerce and industry and Agriculture Minister Dr. Fahd Ibn Abdul Rahman Balghaneim.
