Insurance Industry Meeting Set for June

JEDDAH, 3 May 2004 — The first Saudi meeting on insurance scheduled to be held here next month will discuss technical requirements and investment policies, said Ali ibn Muhammad Al-Ghaith, a senior official at Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency. He said the conference is being organized in cooperation with BMG Financial Consultants. “By holding this meeting, SAMA intends to introduce the Kingdom’s insurance law and its specific regulations to companies,” Al-Ghaith said.
