DHAHRAN, 26 May 2004 — Saudi Aramco produced an average of 8.1 million barrels of oil per day last year, according to the 2003 Annual Review of the company released here last week. The review said that in addition to the oil, the company also produced 6.9 billion cubic feet of gas per day. It confirmed the year-end proven reserves at 259.4 billion barrels of crude oil stood and 234.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. On the employment front, Saudi Aramco continued to play its lead role in providing jobs and training to Saudis.
