AGES to Hold Media Seminar Today

JEDDAH, 28 May 2004 — Khaled Al-Maeena, editor in chief of Arab News, will address the Media Seminar & Award Ceremony organized by the Assembly for Guidance, Education and Service (AGES) at Trident Hotel here today.

“Al-Maeena will be the key-note speaker at the seminar and his speech will focus on “Post Sept. 11 International Media,” said A. Farouk, its public relations officer.

Al-Maeena will present the AGES Award to M.C.A. Nasser, chief reporter of Gulf Madhyamam daily. The award is given in appreciation of Nasser’s excellent coverage of the US-led war on Iraq from Baghdad.

Nasser will also address the function, which will start at 4.30 p.m. AGES is a cultural and educational organization of Indian expatriates in Jeddah.
