The Saudi British Bank (SABB) has reaffirmed its commitment to providing the most convenient and technologically advanced solutions to its customers. To meet the remittance needs of its growing retail customer base, SABB has introduced an electronic money transfer system called DirectPay.

According to the SABB head of Payments & Cash Management, it allows SABB account holders to transfer money from their home within the Kingdom and abroad quickly and safely round the clock. SABB account holders can register their beneficiaries on DirectPay and then send transfer instructions on SABBDirect Phone Banking or SABBNet Internet Banking. Special rates are being provided for remittances to India, Lebanon, the US, UK and Canada, with other countries to follow soon.

The DirectPay service replaces the earlier “Dial-a-Remittance” product by offering an automated method of sending instructions.

Speaking about DirectPay, the SABB spokesman explained that customers using the service would no longer have to wait in long queues or wait for bank branches to open. They can now make payments from the convenience of their home or office at any time.
