JEDDAH, 2 August 2004 — Saudi Aramco has organized a two-month summer camp for physically challenged children in the Chuck E. Cheese center in Jeddah.
Nabeel Baeshen, Saudi Aramco’s regional manager for activities, said that this year’s festival is held under the theme, “Gentle Touch.”
The festival’s main objective is to bring laughter and smile to the faces of the children, he said. A special feature will be a painting contest in which children will give expression to their feelings.
He said that Aramco would play host to many children including those from charity organizations. They will be taken to entertainment and tourism centers in Jeddah and also to an Aramco convention that is held in the Jeddah Center for Technology and Science.
Emad Al-Aboud, general manager of Chuck-e-Cheese, said the center was hosting 300 children and that it was holding the festival for the fourth consecutive year.
