On the auspicious occasion of the 58th Independence Day of Pakistan, I would like to convey my heartiest felicitations to all fellow citizens living in Pakistan and abroad.
As a result of far-sighted policies and the government’s reforms agenda of the last five years, Alhamdo Lillah, today, Pakistan has achieved economic stability and the country is poised for a take off. Our brave and hard working people have surmounted many challenges. But on no account should we remain content with our achievements. The country continues to face many challenges and we all have to continue working with honesty, sincerity and devotion in order to succeed in our quest of making Pakistan a truly modern, dynamic Islamic welfare state as envisioned by our founding father. We have all the resources and potential. We have to demonstrate the resolve.
Let us, therefore renew afresh on this occasion, our pledge to spare no efforts for achieving the goals for which this country was created. This can be done by unequivocally adhering to the principles of Faith, Unity and Discipline given by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. May Allah Almighty be our guide. Ameen. Pakistan Paindabad.
