Charity Fair

RIYADH, 7 October 2004 — The Oriental Ladies Club is organizing its annual charity fair at the Indian Embassy today to raise funds for charitable projects in the participating countries — Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore and Sri Lanka. The fair, organized by the spouses of embassy officials, will feature handicrafts from the member countries, according to Mrs. Vanita Singh, president of the club, who said entrance is free and open to the public with their families. Traditional folk dances and songs of participating countries will be a highlight of the fair. Ethnic food from south, southeast and central Asia will be available.
