Intel has launched its Arabic website, which is aimed at highlighting the company’s regional activities, easing e-procurement for channel customers and providing them with enhanced technical and marketing support in Arabic. Located at www.intel.com/arabic, the website provides Intel’s channel customers with a customized experience that they can access around the clock to place orders, track deliveries, and get information with regard to their membership in the Intel Inside Program. This comes as part of Intel’s renewed commitment to the region and to its channel customers, which count some 3,500 members in the Middle East.
“This launch is part of Intel’s drive to reinforce our ties with our customers in the region. We developed the Arabic website to ensure that we speak to our users in their own language and that our channel customers are comfortable using the online services to optimize the benefits that our system provides,” said Sam Al-Schamma, Intel’s GM in the GCC.
Intel, the world’s largest chipmaker, is also a manufacturer of computer, networking and communications products. Drawing on channel partners who focus on a wide variety of verticals, Intel found it necessary to maximize the level of 24x7 support available to the region. The website’s electronic services also aim to reduce channel customers’ overheads and maximize their efficiency by allowing a one-click procedure for most frequent tasks.
“It is our job to ensure that our channel customers’ time is optimized to place the focus on their real priority: Their own customers,” said Al-Schamma.
