Radio Riyadh to Be Upgraded

JEDDAH, 10 November 2004 — Culture and Information Minister Dr. Fouad Al-Farsy yesterday signed an SR28.87 million contract with a national company to upgrade the broadcasting system of Radio Riyadh. The contract, which will be implemented in 22 months, comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to upgrade mass media in the country.

The contractor will replace the old audio systems at the studios with modern ones.
