JEDDAH, 8 December 2004 — Famous composer Ammar Al-Shuraiee has advised Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram to stay away from the traditional Arabic songs and stick to the light songs she normally sings.
Ammar stressed that Nancy is a singer with a pretty face but it is shameful when she attempts to compete with the great singers like the late legendary Egyptian singer Umm Kalthoum and Algerian singer Warda. The singer has already begun preparations for her forthcoming album and is also planning on shooting her two music videos from her latest release, “Oul Tani Kida” (Say that Again) and “Inta Aih” (What Are You).
Ajram will for the first time in her career hold two concerts in Morocco during the month of December. She will be singing a collection of songs from her new album, which is scheduled for release during the beginning of 2005.
