JEDDAH, 13 December 2004 — Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram recently held two concerts in the Jordanian capital Amman, but at each the singer ended her performance before the scheduled time.
Organizers and audience who came from around the country to hear and watch her sing wanted an explanation as to why she left so quickly. It was revealed that the singer left the first concert before it ended after a drunken fan poured drink on her which enraged her and she rushed off stage.
Nancy also left her second concert early for different reasons mainly due to the fact that her flight schedule was early and she wanted to be in the airport on time. Nancy had held two performances in Amman one at the Le Meridian hotel during a gala dinner, and the other on the Arena stage at Amman National University.
Nancy is one of the Arab singers chosen to sing at the Hello February taking place in Kuwait. Last year the singer turned down her invitation to take part in the festival due to the fact that she held two concerts during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha, and had agreed to the concerts before she was offered a chance to sing in the festival.
