RIYADH, 16 February 2005 — Amadeus-sponsored seminars to help introduce IATA BSP web-based tool in Saudi Arabia will be held at Le Meridien Hotel in Madinah today and at Trident Hotel in Abha/Khamis Mushayt on Saturday (Feb. 19). These follow the one held in Riyadh on Sunday. The event in the capital was attended by a majority of travel agents from the Central Province who had the opportunity to increase their knowledge of BSPlink, the global interface for travel agents and airlines to access IATA’s Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP). “Amadeus is very keen on supporting the introduction in the country of the IATA’s BSP tool for reporting and administration of different BSP processes,” Kalam Sayed, country sales and marketing manager at Amadeus Saudi Arabia, said yesterday. The series of five seminars to mark the launch of IATA BSPlink were earlier held in Jeddah and the Eastern Province.
