RIYADH, 1 March 2005 — Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, director general of King Faisal Foundation, has received the prestigious “International 5-Star Diamond Award”, on behalf of Al Faisaliah Hotel, which is owned by King Faisal Foundation.
The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences has given the award to Al-Faisaliah for “consistently maintaining overall standards of high quality and superb performance, offering all five-star services to the fullest satisfaction of customers.”
“This award is the most prestigious emblem of achievement and true quality”, said John M. Scott III, president and CEO of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts; who is currently visiting the Gulf states. Scott, while addressing a press conference here on Sunday, also unveiled plans to operate two new Rosewood hotels in the Gulf.
“We are looking at different locations in Jeddah and Dubai for new Rosewood hotels.”
