RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate meetings with Western counterparts, including British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, Germany’s Johann Wadephul, France’s Jean-Noel Barrot, Canada’s Anita Anand, and Italy’s Antonio Tajani.
He also met with European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of the G7 Ministerial Meeting in the French town of Vaux-de-Cernay, near Paris, on Thursday.
Prince Faisal discussed regional developments in his talks, focusing on their security repercussions and efforts to address them, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to France, Fahad Al-Ruwaily, and Waleed Al-Ismail, the director general of the Foreign Minister’s Office, also attended the meetings.
