RIYADH, 16 March 2005 — A Swedish delegation led by Lars Rekke, director general of the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority, is here on a three-day official visit.
According to Patrick El-Cheikh, first secretary at the Swedish Embassy, the delegation comprising representatives of some seven aviation companies will hold talks with senior Saudi officials to forge closer cooperation in aviation sector. It will explore ways of lending Swedish expertise to the Kingdom mainly in the fields of air navigation, training, airport technology, maintenance and aircraft components.
