Angry Govt Employee Tries to Storm Building

AL-JOUF, 21 March 2005 — Police managed to secure the gun from an angry education department employee who stormed into the building that houses the department, Okaz reported. All employees locked themselves inside their offices until police arrived and brought the situation under control. The gunman tried to storm into the manager’s office but it was locked from the inside. Then he tried to storm into the finance department but that was also locked. Police arrived and arrested him. The employee was angry that he was transferred from a teacher’s job to an administrative position in the same department.
