Farook Congratulates Students

DAMMAM, 21 March 2005 — The Indian ambassador to the Kingdom, M.O.H. Farook, congratulated the first group of students of the International Indian School who had opted for Tamil as their subject for the academic year 2003-04.

Farook was visiting Dammam to attend the literary function of Muthamizh Mandarm on Friday. The function was followed by a cultural program. The former chairman of the Indian school managing committee, S.M. Farook, and Vice Principal Anwar Batcha were among those who welcomed the ambassador.The function was aimed at encouraging students to learn their language and culture and be proud of their roots.
