Man Produces Wife’s Passport at Border

HAFR AL-BATEN, 23 March 2005 — A man who wanted to travel to Kuwait was in an embarrassing situation after he brought his wife’s passport instead of his own, Al-Youm reported. The man wanted to go to Kuwait by car and when he reached the border, 100 kilometers from Hafr Al-Baten, he handed what he thought was his passport to the immigration official. The official asked him to take his wife to the women’s section for inspection. The man was surprised because he was traveling alone. Only then did he discover that he was carrying the wrong passport. He had to go all the way back to Hafr Al-Baten to pick up his passport and drive to the border checkpoint again.
