BHOPAL, 24 March 2005 — The 18th-General Council meeting of the All-India Muslim Personal Board, would be held in Bhopal on April 30 and May 1, said, board’s General Secretary Syed Nizamuddin here yesterday. The two-day session, while deliberating over a number of important issues, would focus on creating awareness among Muslims about Shariah. Nizamuddin said the draft of model “Nikahnama” already approved by the executive committee will be finalized by the general council. The session would also study the reports on and progress made in the civil suit regarding Babri Masjid dispute.
