AMMAN: The Jordanian armed forces on Wednesday intercepted and shot down an unidentified drone after it entered Jordanian airspace, state news agency Petra reported.
The drone was brought down in the Balila area of Jerash Governorate during the early morning hours, Petra said, quoting a military statement.
The drone interception caused no injuries and aside from minor damages, the statement added, with no specific details released on the source or nature of the drone.
