DUBAI: The UAE-based fashion and travel influencer on travel, books and concerts.

Best TV show/film you’ve ever seen?

“Friends.” It’s timeless, comforting, and never gets old no matter how many times I rewatch it.

Worst TV show/film you’ve ever seen?

Honestly, anything horror. It genuinely haunts me for days. But, somehow, I always end up watching it.

Best job you’ve ever had?

Definitely content creation. Especially brand trips where I get to experience a country in a way I probably never would have otherwise. Those trips always feel the most inspiring and unforgettable to me.

Worst job you’ve ever had?

Any campaign that lacks creativity. I love storytelling and originality, so repetitive concepts are always the hardest for me. I once worked on a campaign where every piece of content had to follow the exact same format with the exact same script — just different creators. There was almost no room for personality or creative direction. It felt very robotic, and as someone who loves creating emotion and connection, it was difficult to enjoy the process.

Best fashion trend of 2026?

Polka dots. I’ve loved them for so long, so I’m very happy they’re back.

Worst fashion trend of 2026?

Tabi shoes — the split-toe look is just not for me.

Best accessory for a little black dress?

Statement gold jewelry and a sleek black heel.

Worst accessory for a little black dress?

Anything overly flashy that takes away from its simplicity.

Best advice you’ve ever been given?

“Consistency will take you places motivation never can.”

Worst advice you’ve ever been given?

“Play it safe.” The best things in my life have happened when I took risks.

Best book you’ve ever read?

“The 48 Laws of Power” completely changed the way I read people and understand human nature. It had a personal impact on me because working in social media and fashion means constantly meeting different personalities and navigating relationships. The book made me more observant, more aware of people’s intentions, and taught me the importance of protecting my energy while still staying authentic.

Worst book you’ve ever read?

Any book that feels like it’s trying too hard to sound deep without actually saying anything meaningful. I’ve started a few ‘self-help’ books that were full of complicated phrases and motivational quotes but lacked real substance or practical insight. I usually stop reading when it feels repetitive or forced.

Best thing to do when you’re feeling low?

Spending quality time with my family and the people I love always helps me reset and feel grounded again.

Worst thing to do when you’re feeling good?

Making too many promises and overcommitting. When I’m happy and excited, I tend to say yes to everything because, in the moment, I genuinely feel like I can do it all. But later, it can become overwhelming. I’ve learned that protecting my time and energy is just as important as being enthusiastic.

Best holiday destination?

Japan and Italy — completely different energies, but both feel magical in their own way. Japan felt magical because of how peaceful and detail-oriented everything is. From the culture and food to the fashion and nature, every moment feels intentional and cinematic. I loved how calm yet inspiring it felt. Italy, on the other hand, feels emotional and alive. To me, Italy is the definition of summer — the beaches, the lemons everywhere, pizza and pasta, golden tans, late sunsets, and that effortless relaxed lifestyle. There’s something so romantic and joyful about it that makes every moment feel special and nostalgic at the same time.

Worst holiday destination?

I don’t think any destination is “bad,” but I struggle with places that feel too overcrowded or touristy.

Best subject at school?

History and literature. I loved history because I’ve always been fascinated by different cultures, stories, and how the past shapes the world we live in today. Literature was special to me because I enjoyed analyzing emotions, characters, and deeper meanings behind words, which honestly connects a lot to what I do now.

Worst subject at school?

Math! We never really got along.

Best thing to do to ensure you have a productive day?

Starting my day with coffee, followed by a workout while listening to my favorite music.

Worst thing to do when you’re trying to have a productive day?

Scrolling on social media for ‘five minutes,’ because it’s never just five minutes. Once you start consuming too much content, it becomes really easy to lose focus and compare yourself to everyone else instead of concentrating on your own ideas and goals.

Best musician or band?

I honestly have too many favorites. I connect with songs more than artists, but lately I’ve been loving Sabrina Carpenter.

Worst musician or band?

I don’t really believe in “worst” artists. Music is personal.

Best concert you’ve ever been to?

Beyoncé! Unmatched energy and stage presence, and every detail was perfect, from the visuals to the choreography to the way she controls the crowd. It genuinely feels less like a concert and more like a full experience.

Worst concert you’ve ever been to?

Any concert that is badly organized — it completely changes the experience.
