DUBAI: A man has been charged with the attempted murder of five people after a car struck multiple pedestrians in west London, the Met Police said on Sunday.
Timir Ahmed Mohamed, 34, of Grange Park in Ealing, has been charged with five counts of attempted murder, as well as dangerous driving, failing to stop, failing to provide a breath sample and criminal damage.
Police were called to Ealing Broadway at 2:29 p.m. on Saturday following reports of a vehicle hitting pedestrians.
Five people were injured in the incident. Two were treated at the scene, while three were taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
Mohamed has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday.
