RIYADH: The Saudi Society for Culture and Arts signed a cooperation memorandum with the Art Avenue Society in Riyadh on Tuesday, with the support of the Misk Foundation, to launch the “Our Identity” program. The program is aimed at strengthening partnerships between nonprofit organizations, developing artistic talent, and reinforcing national identity through specialized training programs.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Saudi Society for Culture and Arts by its Director General Khalid Al-Baz, while Ibrahim Al-Hakimi, Chairman of the Board of Art Avenue Society, signed on behalf of that organization.
The agreement seeks to deliver a comprehensive program based on professional standards to enhance participants’ artistic skills, strengthen the presence of Saudi national identity in creative production, empower emerging artistic talent, and generate a lasting cultural impact. It also outlines cooperation on supervising, organizing and documenting the program, while providing an environment conducive to its successful implementation.
The program will comprise 72 hours of training delivered over six weeks, equipping participants with targeted artistic skills and awarding them certificates upon successful completion.
Both organizations said the memorandum reflects their commitment to combining expertise and coordinating efforts to advance artistic programs, invest in creative talent, and support the Kingdom’s cultural development goals in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to strengthen the cultural sector and empower creatives.
