Saudi Trade Team to Visit Turkey

RIYADH, 21 April 2005 — A 17-member Saudi delegation will visit Turkey early next month with a view to boosting Riyadh-Ankara cooperation especially in commercial and tourism sectors.

The mission, to be led by a prominent businessman Dr. Ghassan Ahmed Al-Sulaiman, will hold talks with Turkish businessmen in Istanbul on May 5-6. “The business talks will be held within the framework of the mandate of Saudi-Turkish Business Council”, said Turkish Ambassador Ugur Dogan here on Tuesday. Dogan said that Turkey has a lot to offer to Saudi tourists. “The plan to hold tourism congress in Antalya on Friday is to feature the tourist attractions and to promote Antalya region as a world brand”, said a press statement released by the Turkish Airlines here.
