JEDDAH, 2 May 2005 — A wide range of food items, beverages and bakery products and equipment are on display at an international trade exhibition, which opened here last evening. Visibly impressed by the exhibits from national and overseas companies was Deputy Minister of Agriculture Abdul Aziz ibn Saad Al-Shathri who was seen tasting some of the mouth-watering delicacies while touring the exhibits. “The range of items shows the varieties that are being offered by both national and international exhibitors,” he later said in his formal address. More than 200 national and international companies are showcasing their products at the five-day Food, Hotel & Propac Arabia exhibition being organized by Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions Ltd. at the Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center here.
