JEDDAH, 19 May 2005 — A large number of cell phone customers received a message saying, “If you want a special telephone or mobile number, new numbers for mobily telecommunications have been launched. Hurry up and call the following number ((027466555)) to reserve a number. The offer is limited.” Many people who called the number in search for a special phone number ended up being embarrassed because the number belongs to a mental hospital in Taif. One of the people who received the message commented that people who called the number called the right place because there are people who are willing to spend thousands of riyals on a special phone number. A similar hoaxer earlier spread a number people should call to get a special number. This time caller ended up calling the Jeddah zoo.
