JEDDAH, 29 May 2005 — King Faisal Specialist Hospital’s mobile Blood Donor Center, the first in the Makkah region, will be on display at the Health Care Exhibition for five days from May 30 until June 4. The exhibit will be held in the Al-Harithy Company for Exhibition building alongside a health care symposium.
Blood donations will be accepted, and free laboratory tests will be done for attendees.
KFSH told Arab News that the Blood Donor Mobile Center is equipped with the latest technologies, in addition to qualified medical staff that is available round the clock to help the hospital acquire rare blood group donations.
The Blood Donor Mobile Center usually passes near popular places such as schools and companies, with the aim of reaching the biggest number of blood donors.
The aim of the mobile blood bank is to facilitate blood donations from the general public.
