HP’s line up for the Middle East region, Fall ’05 includes two distinct products that are marked by affordability and efficiency. HP will be introducing its most economic color laser printer to date and a comprehensive All-in-One series.
The HP Color LaserJet 2600n printer is a desktop designed for individuals and small work teams who can expect to benefit from its low price point and in-line color speeds. Featuring enhancements such as out-of-the-box built-in network connectivity, higher printing resolution and an ultra quiet in-line printing, the 2600n produces affordable, high-impact color materials. With a 264 MHz processor and standard 16MB RAM, the HP Color LaserJet 2600n can process most complex print jobs. Additionally, the 250-sheet input tray supports a variety of specialty media such as transparencies, glossy media, labels and cardstock in sizes ranging from index card to legal-size media.
Commenting on the new HP Color LaserJet 2800 All-in-One series, Thomas Valjak, category manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East, explained that it consolidated print, fax, scan, copy and digital imaging capabilities into a single device. “The addition of the HP Color LaserJet 2800 All-in-One series to HP’s color printing portfolio presents SMBs in the region with an affordable All-in-One color device that can easily accomplish all their business communication needs in-house.” Key highlights include an intuitive control panel, a single touch color or black and white copying, multiple copy setting selections for replication of documents containing text, graphics, printed pictures or developed photographs and adjustment selections for reduction/enlargement, multiple pages reproduced to a single page and contrast enhancement of originals.
The HP Color LaserJet 2800 All-in-One series features HP ImageREt 2400 print quality and includes HP Image Zone software to help produce color business documents. Additionally, it delivers speeds of up to 19 pages per minute (ppm) monochrome and 4 ppm color printing and copying and high-quality CCD scanning of documents, images and objects at up to 1200 dpi optical/19200 enhanced scan resolution.
