Father Shaves His Daughters’ Hair

DAMMAM, 27 June 2005 — A father in Qateef could not bear the fact that his two daughters had failed their school exams, Okaz newspaper reported. The result of his disappointment was that he took them into the bathroom, locked the door and shaved their heads. His daughters’ screams and protests did not deter him. After he had finished shaving their heads, they went to the police and filed a report against their father.
