JEDDAH, 3 July 2005 — Saudi Arabian Airlines will begin flying direct flights between Kuwait and Madinah and Abha due to the demand by Kuwaitis for summer trips to these two cities and others in the Kingdom. Saudia will be providing 14 weekly flights between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia during the summer, 7 of which are between Kuwait and Riyadh, 4 between Kuwait and Jeddah, 2 between Kuwait and Madinah, and one flight between Kuwait and Abha each week. Saudia expects to transfer 4,000 travelers weekly between the two countries with the possibility of reaching a total of 60,000 travelers during the next three months.
