Hitachi Data Systems, provider of Application Optimized Storage solutions and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd., has appointed Michael Vath as senior VP and GM for Hitachi Data Systems Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Reporting to Vath will be the EMEA country managers, as well as the heads of other key functions, including marketing, finance and operations. Vath will based in Frankfurt, Germany.
