Jarir Marketing Posts SR29.3 Million Profit

JEDDAH, 19 July 2005 — Jarir Marketing Company achieved net profits for second quarter of 2005 of SR29.3 million compared with SR19.5 million for the same period last year, according to its Chairman Mohammed Al-Akeel. Results for the second quarter were higher than expected. Sales for the period increased by 55.5 percent reaching SR168.4 million. Stock profits also increased from SR11 per share to SR15.2.
