JEDDAH, 21 July 2005 — The Ministry of Agriculture is putting the final touches on the largest imported sheep quarantine area in Makkah region, reported Al-Watan newspaper. The quarantine is in Al-Khomra district in Jeddah, had a cost of more than SR54 million and can hold more than 150,000 head of sheep. A number of businessmen donated around SR7 million to set the place and it is expected to be in operation by Ramadan.
