BJP Refutes Congress Charges

BHOPAL, 27 July 2005 — The charges by the Congress party dubbing the Hindu fundamentalist organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh a terrorist outfit has been strongly refuted by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), its political wing. Reacting to the claims of the Madhya Pradesh Congress party regarding RSS the BJP state vice president Raghunandan Sharma cited the popularity of the organization saying that the Culture Department in England gave 20 percent of the average donation as additional grant to RSS there.
