Men Sent to Court for Smoking in Hospital

JEDDAH, 1 August 2005 — Two young Saudis were sent to court after they were caught smoking in government hospital hallways Al-Watan reported. Smoking is prohibited in all government establishments. It started when a hospital official saw the two men smoking and asked them not to smoke and to smoke outside the hospital. When they refused to comply, the official contacted police who arrived and arrested the two men.
