Number of Charity Organizations Goes Up

JEDDAH, 3 August 2005 — Awad Al-Raddadi, deputy minister of social affairs, said that the number of charity organizations increased by 30 percent compared with last year, Eqtisadiah reported. Al-Raddadi expects that the number of charity organizations will increase in the future. He said that the number of female charity organizations 100 percent managed by women increased to 24. He said that the ministry is monitoring the charity operations in these organizations.
