CAIRO, 5 August 2005 — Tunisian singer Latifa was the guest of honor at the recent 25th Arab Children Congress (ACC) in Amman Jordan, alongside internationally renowned singer Ricky Martin.
During the special event, organized by the Noor Al Hussein Foundation Performing Arts Centre, Latifa gave a lecture titled “Cultural Heritage as the key source for Excellence” to the different international missions.
After her lecture, UNICEF nominated Latifa as a Goodwill Ambassador.
Latifa was granted the prestigious title as a reflection of her worthy efforts in the region. Latifa also gave a musical performance by special request of the audience.
