Najwa Karam Postpones Release of Album

BEIRUT, 9 August 2005 — Lebanese singer Najwa Karam has decided to postpone the release of her upcoming music album, which was scheduled for release at the beginning of this month, due to the current conditions in the region.

In the new album, Najwa cooperated with a number of prominent composers and poets like Wisam Al-Ameer, Nizar Francis, Sameer Nakhleh and others.

Najwa is due to hold a number of concerts around the Arab world this summer starting with Algeria, Syria, and Lebanon.

And for the first time in her career, she will hold a performance in Brazil, after receiving a personal invitation from Lebanese citizens residing there.
