Meeting Set in Sharm El-Sheikh

RIYADH, 16 August 2005 — The Executive Committee for the Islamic Chambers of Commerce and Industry will hold a meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh next Saturday to discuss the increase of trade between Islamic countries. The deputy president of the Islamic Chamber, Khaled Abu Ismael, pointed out that the current trade between Islamic countries of only 14 percent is weak and does not satisfy the ambitions of the leaders of Islamic world. The meeting will discuss eliminating barriers, increasing investments and the establishment of a businesswomen’s council at the chambers.
