JEDDAH, 31 August 2005 — Indian Cultural Society and Bazm-e-Osmania are jointly organizing a cultural event tomorrow (Sept. 1) to mark India’s Independence Day. The program includes patriotic songs and old and new melodies. “The two organizations have been traditionally hosting such programs to celebrate the country’s independence and republic days over the years,” Arif Quraishi, president of the organizations said. The event will be held at 8.30 p.m. at Hamadah Commercial Center, second floor, Al-Hamrah district.
