BA Phone System Breaks Down

RIYADH, 15 September 2005 — British Airways yesterday asked passengers to contact its travel shop on (01) 465-0216 for any inquiries or assistance due to the malfunctioning of its Riyadh office telephone system. “We’re doing everything possible to restore the telephone system to ensure that we’re able to assist our customers and we’re continuing business as usual,” Richard Hirsch, BA manager of Saudi Arabia, said in a statement. “We would like to apologize to our customers for any inconvenience caused due to the technical breakdown of the telephone system in our Riyadh Office,” he said.
