RIYADH, 9 October 2005 — A new work schedule is in effect at the Philippine Embassy for the Ramadan season.
It will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Saturday to through Wednesday. “The shortened schedule (without noon break) will be in force until the end of the fasting month and normal business hours will resume after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday,” the embassy said.
It also said: “Those who have business to transact, particularly important matters, with the embassy are advised to attend to them before the long Eid shutdown will commence on Oct. 28.”
After the weeklong Eid holidays starting Oct. 28, the embassy’s normal work schedule (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) will resume.
