Makkawis Give a Helping Hand to Pilgrims in Distress

MAKKAH, 11 October 2005 — About 200 young Saudis are participating in a program called “Makkah Men at Your Service.” As part of the program, these young men from Makkah will spread out in the central area of the holy city to give a helping hand to Umrah pilgrims as well as the weak and old visiting the holy mosque. The young men will also assist lost pilgrims. They will work in two shifts — from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to midnight.
