MUSCAT, 12 October 2005 — The world’s largest exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG), Indonesia is understood to have decided to buy LNG from Oman meet its export commitments and to supply liquefied natural gas to fertilizer plants in its northwestern Aceh province. Qouting informed sources, Times of Oman said yesterday Indonesia is keen to pick more than 100,000 cubic meters of LNG from Oman by the end of 2005, followed by another consignment early next year.
